PLB Rescue Activation Sequence
In an emergency situation, the personal location beacon is activated. Satellites collect beacon information and establish a GPS position. The GPS position and beacon information are received by a Geo Stationary satellite and the rescue co-ordination centre informed and the rescue strategy activated.
